Police: Dayton road rage incident turns into assault, robbery

Dayton police are investigating a road rage incident that turned into a robbery and an assault at Findlay Street and Monument Avenue early Friday morning.

It’s not clear where the incident started, but it involved people in an SUV and a man on a motorcycle, police said.

Police believe words were exchanged, then both vehicles stopped in front of 511 N. Findlay St. Someone from the SUV assaulted the motorcycle driver and took an unknown item from him, officers said.
