TROY — A Troy man accused of throwing a cup of blood in the face of a Miami County correction officer bringing him a meal pleaded no contest to felony harassment with a bodily substance.

Tyler Sharp, 25, was found guilty this week by Judge Christopher Gee in county Common Pleas Court. He withdrew a previous plea of not guilty by reason of insanity in the Aug. 14 incident. An evaluation of Sharp had found him competent to stand trial.
