The City of Dayton contracted with NCL, leading experts in hotel liquidation managed, to divest the property of all saleable assets prior to the demolition.
The sale will continue daily for the next 21 days. NCL will offer to the general public and hospitality industry, all of the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment formerly used in the operation of the hotel. Items of interest include king and queen beds, Thomasville armoires and nightstands, loveseats, sofas, color TV’s, lighting, artwork, upholstered chairs, desk chairs and much more.
Also included will be commercial laundry and kitchen equipment, restaurant and bar furnishings, ice machines, office furniture as well as chandeliers and banquet furnishings. Hours for the liquidation sale will be 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 to 5:00 pm.
“This is an excellent opportunity for Dayton area hotel managers to pick up various items at reduced prices for their own properties,” says Don Hayes, President of NCL. “But there are also plenty of items for the general public just looking for a great deal on household and/or restaurant furnishings and fixtures.”
All items are tagged, priced and sold “as is, where is” on a first-come, first-served basis. Buyer removes purchases. Payment will be by cash, Visa or MasterCard only. All items are subject to availability and prior sale. There is a buyer’s premium of 10% on all purchases made by buyer.
“It may sound a little cliché, but ‘everything must go,’’ continues Hayes. “We are working to empty the property as quickly as possible, so that the building can be readied for demolition later this year.”
