Dayton is one of the slowest growing mid-sized cities, according to a new analysis.

WalletHub, a personal-finance website, conducted an in-depth analysis of the year's fastest growing cities. Analysts compared 515 cities, and produced separate ranking for large, midsize and small cities.

Dayton ranked third slowest growing mid-sized city, according to the analysis.

Out of the 515 cities, Dayton ranked 504th for population growth, 469th for job growth and 505th for growth in number of businesses.

The analysis also measured poverty rate, median household income growth, working-age population growth and unemployment rate decrease. Overall, the city ranked 505th in all categories and 245th for mid-sized cities.
