Dayton Police ask for the public’s help seeking gunshot victim’s vehicle

Dayton Homicide Detectives are asking for help locating a vehicle that belongs to a reported gunshot victim that was taken from a Shell Station at 4125 West Third Street.

A gunshot victim reportedly arrived at Miami Valley Hospital around 1:20 a.m. Friday, according to police records. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.

Dayton Police later tweeted that detectives were searching for a victim’s vehicle, taken from the gas station. The vehicle, according to the tweet, is a 2014 Chevy Impala, with Ohio License HWZ2784. A suspect in the shooting reportedly took the vehicle from the scene.
