Dayton Woman Attacked; Purse Stolen At Meijer

A Dayton woman said she was attacked in the restroom of a Beavercreek store and her purse was stolen.

The incident happened Saturday at the Meijer store on Colonel Glenn Highway when the victim went to buy dish soap and the check the prices of a phone for a friend.

Lisa Moorman, 42, said the man hit her in the back of the head. She said she was attacked while washing her hands in the restroom.

According to Moorman, she blacked out, and when she awoke, there were security guards around her.

She said the security guards asked her questions, but everything was a daze. Moorman said the back of her head felt like someone had hit her with a brick, and she had blood on her hands.

Authorities said Moorman’s purse was missing, which meant her driver’s license, $10, and her prescription medication were gone.

Moorman said she was mostly concerned about her medication. She said the medicine cost her a fortune.

According to police, there are no suspects.
