Accoding to deputies, a group of men were fishing overnight when one of them decided to go jump into the water to go for a swim, which is something that the owner of the business does not like to have happen. He said the lakes are for fishing only.

Authorities said it appears that the man went under water and never resurfaced. They said two of the man's friends jumped into the water to try and save him, but they were not able to find him.

Water rescue crews were called to scene, and around 5:30 a.m. they recovered the body of a 38-year-old man. At this time, authorities have not released the name of the man. However, family and friends that News Center 7 spoke to identified the man as Robert Lavender.
