Called the Duke Dog Park has about two acres of  land enclosed by a six-foot high chain linked fence. It is divided into two areas. One for small dogs under 30 pounds and for large dogs weighing over 30 pounds.

There is a sign listing 17 rules and regulations posted,  to include stating that only dogs are permitted in the dog park, to making it clear that the dog owner or handler is responsible for the dog while on the park premises.

The project cost about $30,000. The city received grants from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Troy Foundation.
