A driver was seriously injured after crashing while attempting to flee law enforcement, a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
A 2010 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Timothy Boswell, 45, of South Charleston was fleeing northbound on state Route 41 around 9 a.m. Sunday when Boswell failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle overturned.
Boswell was not wearing a safety belt. He was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol were involved in the pursuit. Harmony Twp. Fire and EMS responded to the crash.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and South Charleston Police Department are investigating the pursuit.
