Duteil said that speed appeared to be a factor in the crash. When the road took a turn toward the west, he said Johnson continued going north and ended up in the woods.
Duteil said neighbors found Johnson lying next to the driver’s side door. He was taken to Kettering Medical Center.
A neighbor told News Center 7 that cars have gone out of control several times this year and ended up in yards.
The crash remains under investigation.
