Throughout the week, some organizations tested their continuity of operations plans while others put their members through their proper response procedures with an automatic external defibrillator, or AED. AED exercises help determine the level of familiarization that workers have with the devices and their locations within their facilities. That familiarization could potentially be lifesaving.
The next base-wide exercise is scheduled for July 30 to Aug. 3.
