The fire happened at the Village Park Community Trailer Park around 3 a.m.
Firefighters said by the time they arrived, there was nothing that they could do to save the home.
Samantha Brewer lives next door, and she said, "All of the sudden, I hear someone screaming and pounding on my trailer. I jumped up and seen flames shooting out from the trailer beside me."
Brewer said as soon as she saw the flames, she grabbed her children and ran to get help.
"He got help from the newspaper guy. Thank you God for the Dayton Daily News," Brewer said.
As they waited for emergency crews, they realized that the flames were spreading.
"It looked like all three of these trailers were on fire. The flames were so high and you heard pops and explosions," Brewer said.
Brewer and her neighbor's trailer suffered major damage in the intense fire.
"There is a lot of smoke damage, and it busted out my windows, curtains, blinds and my clothes have smoke damage," Brewer said.
Brewer said she is in the process of moving anything left out, and plans to stay with relatives. She is just glad that her children were not injured.
At this time, fire officials are still trying to determine what sparked the fire. However, witnesses said the fire started in the kitchen.
