The cause of the fire was not immediately known and the building was powered with electricity, according to a fire official.
Crews contained the fire to the back of the garage, but flames destroyed a vehicle and tools. Crews were able to keep the flames away from a motorcycle and a classic hot rod that were parked toward the front of the garage.
No one was injured.
FIRST REPORT
Crews are responding to a reported garage fire in the 9000 block of West Third Street in Jefferson Twp.
The fire was reported around 8:30 a.m.
Early reports indicated everyone got out OK, but West Third Street is being shut down to accommodate fire equipment.
