Five Arrested In Celina Drug Bust

Five people were arrested in what's believed to be one of the biggest heroin busts ever in Mercer County. It started with neighborhood complaints to police and it was followed by a traffic stop and a raid on a home in Celina.

Heroin and close to $10,000 was found in the drug bust.

First there was a traffic stop charging the driver, Nickolaus Roberts of Celina, with driving under a suspended license.

A passenger, Eric Richards of Celina, was charged with drug abuse. Several hours later, police executed a search warrant on his home at 306 Brandon Ave.

Officers said they found Cody Hodge there along with Balinda Fonner of Spencerville and Reginald Flowers of Celina. They face drug-related charges.

Hodge's bond was set at $500,000 while Fonner and Flowers are jailed on $50,000 bond.

Over the past few years, Celina has had several heroin related deaths. The investigation continues.
