Florida politician who ‘saw aliens on spaceship’ running for Congress

A Republican politician in Miami who is running for Congress claimed she has seen aliens --and even boarded a space ship with them.

Doral's first economic director and former city county member, Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera, 59, spoke about her extra terrestrial experience in a 2009 TV interview, the Miami Herald reports.

The candidate said that “three blond, big-bodied beings” visited her when she was 7 years old, and “communicated telepathically.”

"I went in. There were some round seats that were there, and some quartz rocks that controlled the ship — not like airplanes," Rodriguez Aguilera said in her interview with a local Spanish-language station, America TeVe.

During the interview she also said that there are 30,000 “unhuman” skulls in a cave in the Mediterranean island of Malta, that the world’s “energy center” is in Africa, and that the “Coral Castle” attraction in Miami-Dade is an ancient Egyptian pyramid.

Rodriquez Aguilera annouinced her candidacy in August to replace Miami Republican, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, in 2018.

When the Miami Herald spoke with Rodriquez Aguilera on Friday about her close encounters of aliens she did not mention her personal story, but said U.S. presidents such as Reagan and Carter “publicly claimed to have seen unidentified flying objects” and that Stephen Hawking “stated that there are billions of galaxies in the universe and we are probably not alone.”
