Neither the attorney for Max Engelhart nor UD would comment, and the terms were not available. Both parties issued nearly identical statements about the lawsuit that had been going forward in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
“The Engelhart v. UD matter has been resolved to the parties’ satisfaction,” said Engelhart’s attorney, Scott Jones. “Beyond that I cannot comment.”

A statement from UD read: “The matter has been resolved to the parties’ satisfaction. The University will have no additional comment.”
The dismissal entry filed by Jones indicates UD “shall bear all court costs.”
