Cercek, 47, comes to TriHealth from Rochester General Hospital, the flagship hospital of Rochester Regional Health System, where he worked for eight years. He most recently served as president, a position he held since April, 2015. In that role, Rob was responsible for enhancing the quality of care throughout the system, leading corporate strategy development and managing operations.
Prior to Rochester, Rob was an executive at providers including Banner Health in Phoenix, Diversified Radiology of Denver and Premier Health in Dayton. Cercek earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toledo and his Master’s in Health Administration from Central Michigan University. Cercek will begin his new role at TriHealth on Monday, August 22. Rob and his wife, Fran, are native Ohioans, and have two children.
Niehaus, 41, joins TriHealth from Summa Health System in Akron where he served as Senior Vice President, System Hospital Operations and Site Administration for two of the system’s hospitals (Summa Barberton Hospital and Summa Health Center at Wadsworth-Rittman).
