Bad Frog Yogurt shop on Brown Street near the University of Dayton is closing Oct. 17, according to an email sent to customers.
The yogurt shop opened in April 2012 and is one of two owned by the company. Another store remains open in Dublin outside of Columbus.
The business opened among several frozen-yogurt stores in the Miami Valley in the past five years, including T-Willy’s Frozen Yogurt Emporium, Awesome Yogurt shops and Orange Leaf.
Bad Frog Yogurt had a little more than a dozen employees.

The store is located near several new restaurants opening on Brown Street. Zombie Dogz and Bibibop will open in the next two months. The retail strip also includes Fusian Sushi, Potbelly Sandwiches, El Rancho Grande and Smashburger.
