It is expected that the jobs from Kettering will move to Columbus.
While officials said the transition will begin in January, they have not said yet when the process will be complete.

Federal authorities confirmed Thursday that they are closing the Defense Finance Accounting Service facility in Kettering. The closure means a loss of an estimated 400 jobs.
The center is being relocated under a plan approved earlier this year. The Base Closure Commission ordered the consolidation of 30 accounting centers around the nation down to 10.
