Graven image

Regarding "Touchdown Jesus": That's not a part of this area. This is a craven image brought up by a church to draw attention to itself. I disagree with them rebuilding it. I didn't agree with it being built in the first place. Don't give it the publicity. It doesn't deserve it.

Are members of the Edgewood Board of Education trying to ensure the levy is going to fail? How could the board even think about giving the new superintendent a huge salary increase and other expensive perks? We have the possibility of teachers, bus drivers and other personnel being laid off. What good is our new school if we can't bus the children there and have the teachers and the support staff to educate them? If this salary and compensation package is approved, I will be voting "no" on the levy. ... Only two members have enough sense to understand we can't be spending money we do not have at this critical time.
