Help set record for most people dancing the ‘Cupid Shuffle’

MIDDLETOWN — You are invited to “down, down, do your dance, do your dance” Friday at the Land of Illusion.

The haunted theme park now open for the Halloween season will host singer Cupid for an event that will include a world-record attempt at the largest dance of the “Cupid Shuffle,” a line-dance song.

The park will open at 8 p.m. and the night includes promotional giveaways. Radio station Wiz 101.1 FM will air live from Land of Illusion during the Cupid concert, which begins at 9 p.m.

The cost to get into the park and participate in the shuffle is $29.99 for all ages. The park closes at 2 a.m. It is located at 8762 Thomas Road in Middletown.
