High Speed Chase In Hamilton County And Springfield Township

A high speed chase pursuit went through Hamilton County and Springfield Township on Thursday.

Five different police departments had to participate and investigate after a fatal shooting. Police said before he shot and killed the victim the shooter was struggling with another man. After the shooting, a nearby recreation center with hundreds of kids inside was placed on lockdown. A witness was able to give the officers the license plate number of the fleeing vehicle. The suspect crashed the van in a yard before police arrested him.
