Fire officials said five people managed to make it out of the house safely.
Investigators said it appears that the fire may have been electrical in nature. The state fire marshal’s office was called in to help investigate.

Authorities in Darke County said a house was destroyed in a fire early Wednesday morning.
The fire happened around 4 a.m. in the village of New Weston on Main Street.
