The Interstate 75 South exit ramp to U.S. 35 East was closed for several hours Tuesday after a 55-gallon drum fell off a truck and prompted a hazmat response after it started to leak.

The exit ramp was reopened to traffic around 4:45 p.m., according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

It’s not clear what the drum contained.

Initially the I-75 South ramp to both U.S. 35 West and East were closed, but the westbound ramp was reopened not long after it closed.
