The toothpaste has been distributed to hotels in more than a dozen countries, including the U.S.
The company said it is cooperating with the Food and Drug Administration.

The recall was issued after discovering some samples contained a chemical used to make automotive antifreeze. The substance is toxic to the kidneys and liver, and can depress the central nervous system.
