Investigation Continues Into Murder-Suicide

Dayton police continue to investigate what appeared to be a murder-suicide on Saturday.

A family member called police around 9 a.m. Saturday after the two were found dead inside a house at 1721 Kipling Drive.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the two as 52-year-old Frederick Williams and 57-year-old Sylvia Phillips-Ivy.

Homicide investigators were called to the scene to help determine who shot whom.

Dayton police Sgt. Wendy Stiver said, "Homicide detectives will conduct investigations. An evidence technician collected evidence and they'll analyze that together."
