Journal-News names new editor

Kyle Nagel, a 20-year journalist in southwest Ohio, has been named the new editor of the Journal-News and the digital products associated with Journal-News.com.

Nagel succeeds Jennifer Burcham, who left in December for a role outside of journalism.

Nagel is a graduate of the University of Missouri who has worked for the parent company of the Journal-News, Cox Media Group Ohio, since 1999. He began as a newsroom intern and worked in several jobs as sports reporter, news reporter, digital specialist, team leader, manager of digital story presentation and a local news editor.
