Amy Davidson told this news outlet Sunday that the bar that she owns — the Library Lounge at 3108 Woodman Drive in the Woodlane Plaza — will host a “big blowout party” on April 21. Davidson said she has given notice to the retail center that she will vacate by April 30.

If all goes well, Davidson’s new venture, to be named “One More Tavern,” will open as soon as early May in the former Phone Booth Lounge space at 1554 E. Stroop Road, the pub owner said.

“I’ve always wanted a local place that has a kitchen,” Davidson said. One More Tavern’s kitchen will likely be up and running sometime this fall, she said. The menu will be unveiled in the weeks leading up to the kitchen’s opening.

Unlike its predecessor in the Stroop Road space, One More Tavern will not offer live music, at least at the start, said Davidson, who has operated The Library in its current location since 2013.

The former Phone Booth Lounge space has been vacant since February, when Jack and Betty Wilderman, owners of the lounge, moved their business to the former Dog’s Breath Tavern space at 1912 E. Whipp Road in south Kettering.
