But when a building became available around the corner from Andre Reid's house in Lebanon, Reid's son Dezmon urged him to take a look at it. The space — which formerly held a barbecue restaurant — seats about 65, but after renovations and the addition of outdoor seating, it may offer seating for as many as 140, Reid said.

Reid has applied for a liquor license for the space, and obtaining that license along with finishing up renovations are the final hurdles to clear before opening, he said. “We’re probably looking at late June,” he said.
