Elsa's, which operates four restaurants and sports bars in and around Dayton, will open its fifth location, Elsa's Corner Cantina, at 6204 Wilmington Pike in the Sugarcreek Plaza in Sugarcreek Twp. The space previously housed Caramella's Italian Kitchen, and, before that, Murphy's Irish Pub and Barleycorn's.
“We are very close to wrapping up our construction phase,” the restaurant’s co-founder, Jason Hemmert, told this news outlet. The restaurant has hired for some top-level positions, but are “looking for more key people as well,” Hemmert said.
The new Elsa’s is taking applications in person in the lobby starting at 10 a.m. today, March 25, with hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hemmert said.
