Keeping Jacot Park clean

Soccer players, coaches and parents who are using Jacot Park's soccer fields: Would you please not clean your shoes that are covered with mud on our sidewalks, trees, phone poles, etc.? Please don't throw your candy papers, trash and water bottles on the ground or empty your ashtrays in our yards. This is a very clean, nice park in a nice neighborhood — until you come. Please have some respect for the park and the neighbors around the park.

I wish that the Democrats would realize that it is not the Republicans who are destroying the country. I wish the Republicans would realize that it is not the Democrats who are destroying the country. It is Fox News, MSNBC and the people who follow them blindly that are a large part of the problem in our country. Fox News and MSNBC are both extreme in their political views. Both of them have 24 hours a day, seven days a week, of air time that they have to fill in order to attract advertisers and advertisers' dollars. ... How they get those viewer numbers is by putting on programming that is designed to be shocking and appalling to draw people in — like people looking at a train wreck. They are doing this very successfully. ... If both of those news channels suddenly disappeared, I think things in our country would be a whole lot better. ...
