Renovations are underway at several Kettering city parks.

The ponds at Lincoln Park and Delco Park have been drained in order for crews to rebuild the banks. The ponds will not be at normal water levels during the renovation period.

Larry Early, project manager in Kettering, said Delco Park’s pond was rebuilt once in 1996 but over time the bank has eroded.

NewsCenter 7’s Mike Campbell will have more on the park projects starting at 5 p.m. on WHIO-TV, including information on the cost of the projects and the necessity.
