Kettering police ask for help finding credit card theft suspect wearing Crown Royal mask

The Kettering Police Department is asking for public help in identifying a person who tried to use a stolen credit card at the Speedway at 1020 E. Dorothy Lane.

According to a social media post, the suspect tried to use the card at 10:44 p.m. on Nov. 30. The card was stolen from Workout Anytime at 2234 Smithville Road just before.

The suspect was wearing a red and white Nike hooded sweatshirt under an American Eagle sweatshirt and a purple Crown Royal mask.

In comments on the police department’s Facebook post on the theft, Holly Surface, who owns Workout Anytime in Kettering, explained that the card was stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot that was left unlocked.

Surface added that the suspect is not a member of the club.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call detective Doug Kowalski at 937-296-2572.
