Kettering Walgreens Pharmacy Robbed

Kettering police said a man walked into the Walgreens pharmacy at Dorothy Lane and Woodman Lane around 11:30 a.m. Friday and demanded drugs.

The man showed a knife and said he had a gun, Michael Burke, public information officer for Kettering police, said.

The man got away on foot with an unknown amount of Oxycontin, a prescription drug used to treat severe pain.

Witnesses said the suspect is described as a white man wearing a dark green hooded sweatshirt, with a pencil thin moustache and goatee and was wearing glasses.

Police, who responded within minutes to the scene, said no one was injured and they are still looking for the man.
