King’s Island’s Beast tours to help cancer group

Kings Island will be offering tours of The Beast, the longest wooden roller coaster in the world.

Starting Thursday through Aug. 24, the behind the scenes tours will be offered as part of a campaign to benefit the Susan G. Komen cancer foundation, according to a release from Kings Island spokesman Don Helbig.

Attendees will see the structure up close and get the inside scoop on the origin of The Beast, which was designed by Kings Island personnel, according to the release.

In addition to purchasing admission to the Cedar Fair park, tour tickets can be bought at the park for $30.
