Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey issued a reminder Monday that Sunday, February 28, will be the last public open house held at the new adult detention facility west of Celina. Prisoners will be moved that evening into the building.
The open house will begin at noon and run until 4 pm. “It is important that people come early as we will need to close the tours promptly at 4 o'clock,” stated Sheriff Grey. We will have open house at the old facility during the same hours so people will have an opportunity to see the difference in technology.
