A Beavercreek High School graduate will be the school’s principal for the next academic year.
Dale Wren was appointed the principal for the 2020-21 school year Tuesday night during the school board meeting.
Wren, a 1990 Beavercreek High School grad, served as assistant principal at the high school from 2013 until 2015, when he became the principal at Ankeney Middle School.
“No one is better suited for this critical leadership role than Dale Wren,” said Paul Otten, Beavercreek City Schools superintendent, in a released statement.
Next, the school board will begin a search for the next principal at Ankeney Middle School. The district’s goal is to have a candidate identified by early spring.
