Superintendent congratulates Wayne football team

I know I speak for many in our community when I say how proud I am of our Wayne Warrior football team. I am also very appreciative of the support shown to our football team. Parents and families, Wayne High School staff members, Cheerleaders, band members, and Warriorettes, coaches, directors, and advisors. You sacrifice your own to time to help our students grow and learn. Your efforts bring out the best in our students both on and off the field. Thank you to the many businesses and community organizations that took the time to offer our football team "Good Luck" in the championship game. Your support and encouragement is something our school district and the Wayne Warriors will never forget! I expect great things from the young men on this team as they move forward with the rest of their lives. - Susan Gunnell, superintendent, Huber Heights City Schools
