More than 1,000 flags will encircle the lake at Voice of America MetroPark in West Chester Twp. on Thursday as part of an event celebrating cultural diversity.

Miami University Regionals’ English Language Center will host the inaugural Lake of Nations from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at the park, 7850 VOA Park Drive.

As participants walk around the lake they will get to enjoy music, dancing, games, face painting, tattoos, flag coloring and more, according to organizers.

Motor vehicle permits are required to enter Butler County MetroParks. The permits are free for Butler County residents with proof of residency.
