The final day to grab a funnel cake and catch a rodeo show at the new Fairgrounds and Event Center of Montgomery County will be Sunday.

Preliminary numbers are showing there have been about 17,000 fair goers since Friday with double the paid attendance compared to last year, according to a press release.

“Friday day side was great but during our evening hours, the crowd size was amazing,” said John Yancik, President of the Agricultural Society Board of Directors. “We keep growing every day in attendance. Of course, the curiosity factor is there, and word of mouth is spreading about our first-class, year-round facility. Plus, we think we have a pretty good fair, too.”

There is still plenty of events to see in the final two days including 4-H Horse Show, K9’s in Flight Dog Show, Super R Circus, Flashback Band, and more.
