Pass-holders also are entitled to free season-long parking, early ride time, meal and merchandise discounts and bring-a-friend discounts on single-day admission tickets.
If you buy now, you can use your 2014 Gold season pass one time on any remaining 2013 public operating day through Oct. 27, including Halloween Haunt, which begins Sept. 20.
Meantime, construction at the park continues on Banshee, which park officials have said will be the world’s longest inverted steel roller coaster with more than 4,000 feet of track and multiple inversions. It will reach speeds of up to 68 mph over the two-minute, 40-second ride.
