Emerson Winfield IV, 34, is being sought on charges of aggravated robbery and non-support in the incident that occurred in the 100 block of Garbry Road.
He also may be armed, according to the sheriff’s office.
The 16-year-old victim told sheriff's investigators the driver of a black sedan and a passenger in that car pulled up outside a residence he was visiting on April 22.
The driver, believed to be Winfield, got out and blocked the victim's path. The passenger, a 17-year-old for whom an arrest warrant has been issued since late April, also got out of the vehicle with his hand behind his back, according to the sheriff's investigation.
The victim told authorities that when he told the driver and his accomplice he had no money, the accomplice pulled his hand from behind him to reveal a semi-automatic pistol. The victim said when he tried to walk away, the driver and the accomplice knocked him down and struck him in the face multiple times before leaving in the vehicle.
The 17-year-old suspect is believed to be in the Dayton area, according to the sheriff's office. He is wanted on charges of aggravated robbery and assault.
Both he and Winfield are listed as being "at large."
