James Straley, Executive Director of The Humane Clark County., says "now is a great time to adopt from any local shelter as an adoption today will help make room for these dogs when they are ready ".
Public donations of cash or checks to support the effort can be sent to Security National Bank. All of the funds will go directly to the support of the animals. Credit or Debit cards will not be accepted. Officials stress volunteers are also still needed as the animals become available for adoption.
