Alert canceled, missing Kettering woman is OK

Betty J. Fields-Owen, who was reported missing from her Galewood Street home in Kettering, has been located and she is OK, according to Kettering police.

Kettering police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing endangered adult.

Police said 76-year-old Betty J. Fields-Owen has been missing from her home on Galewood Street.

She’s described as a black woman with brown eyes and gray hair.

The family believes she could be driving a maroon 1991 Buick Regal sedan with gray trim, and Ohio license plate ANS3933.

Anyone who sees Fields-Owen or her car is asked to contact the Kettering Police Department at 937-296-2555.
