UPDATE: Amber Alert cancelled, 1-year-old boy found safe, officials say

UPDATE @ 8:35 a.m.: 

A 1-year-old boy who authorities said was abducted from Perry County, has been located and is safe.

The suspect, Storm Lightening Zeitler, 29, has not been located, according to our news partners at WBNS-TV in Columbus.

Additional details were not available.


An Amber Alert was issued early Monday morning for a 1-year-old boy who was abducted by a man who is not his biological father, deputies said.

Steele Colt Estep was taken from his house in Perry County around midnight Monday, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Estep is described as 2-feet tall, weighing 40 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing grey sweatpants and a black t-shirt with bones on it.

Estep is believed to be with 29-year-old Storm Lightening Zeitler. Zeitler is described as 5-feet 9-inches tall, 180 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a grey jacket with a skull on the back, authorities said.

They are believed to be traveling in a red 1998 Ford Contour sedan with Ohio license plate HXN4100. The plate on the car is fictitious and does not belong to the vehicle, authorities said.

Zeitler is known to have violent tendencies and may have assaulted Estep prior to abducting him, according to investigators.
