Thieves posing as #COVID19 contact tracers are trying to trick Ohioans into handing over personal information. Health depts. are conducting contact tracing, but they'll never ask for sensitive data.

State and local health departments are contacting people as they attempt to reach those who may have been exposed to the virus.
However, Yost noted that they will never ask for sensitive information, such as a Social Security number or bank account number, over the phone.
