Beavercreek High School Principal George Caras

Beavercreek High School Principal George Caras has been placed on administrative leave after there were allegations of misconduct, according to a statement from the district.

Caras was placed on administrative leave effective Friday, according to the statement.

“Mr. Caras will remain on administrative leave pending the results of a thorough, ongoing investigation by the school district. No timetable has been set to conclude the investigation or take further action if appropriate,” the district’s statement reads.

Beavercreek High School Principal George Caras has been placed on administrative leave from the district.

Beavercreek City Schools Superintendent Paul Otten is expected to release a statement later today.

Prior to taking the top administrative role at Beavercreek High School, Caras served as the principal at Northmont High School as well as at Ruskin Elementary in Dayton and John F. Kennedy Elementary in Kettering, according to the Dayton Daily News archives.
