Black Friday shoppers hit stores early

Black Friday is here and shoppers are out and about trying to get the best deals.

The holiday shopping season began as many stores around the Miami Valley opened their doors Thursday night and early Friday morning.

The Best Buy near the Dayton Mall opened at midnight and there was already a line that had formed starting as early as Tuesday.

Shoppers were able to get a jump start on their shopping at Toys "R" Us when doors there opened at 9 p.m.

The push to help businesses balance the books is moving Black Friday ever earlier, but the early opening seems to suit customers who don't want to turn down a good deal.

Hundreds of them came through the doors at Best Buy in Miamisburg and soon, the registers were colledcting cash, mostly in the form of credit.

A number of shoppers snagged their dream deal in minutes, moving on to the next store and the next, and the next.
