DP&L, area utility companies blaming high winds for power outages across region

High winds are being blamed for power outages across at least three counties and Dayton Power & Light crews are working to restore service, spokeswoman Mary Ann Kabel said,

Power lines have come down as a result of limbs falling from trees or the wind, Kabel said. Outages are being reported in Eaton, Xenia, Lewisburg and Cedarville, she said.

The National Weather Service has issued a windy conditions statement for the region until about 8 p.m.
