Boat launch ramps at Caesar’s Creek on state repair list

WAYNESVILLE, Warren County — Fourteen boat launch facilities throughout the state — including at Caesar’s Creek, Kiser Lake and Indian Lake — will get needed repairs this spring, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft said Monday.

In all, ODNR will provide $168,157 in repairs and maintenance.

Funding is provided through the Waterways Safety Fund from boaters’ watercraft registration and titling fees, federal grants and a share of the .875 percent state motor fuel tax.

Repairs include $4,136 at Caesar Creek Lake; $12,400 at Indian Lake State Park for boating access; and $11,500 for Kiser Lake State Park Grandview Heights launch ramp. Rocky Fork State Park will get $11,248 for improved lighting.
